Improving Derelict Cemeteries

Projects have taken place in counties over the uk to improve old rundown cemeteries and turn them into greenspaces for wildlife to congregate. Not only does it offer a good habitat for wildlife to live in but offers a much nicer atmosphere for anyone who still visits them. They have been cleaning out old scrub and rubbish and replacing them with new flower shrubs that encourage alsorts of flying insects and butterflies. The old grass verges that have died off over the years have been turned into wild flower beds and some have been reinstated with fresh grass seed or terf. All in all some of the old cemeteries have been greatly improved and people should be proud of what they achieved. Not only is it much more pleasent for visitors but also alot more dignified for people who rest there.
